Bruce Blades Handles

My choices for fillet knife handles are Dymondwood, Micarta, and Kirinite.  They are waterproof, durable, and attractive.  They do not require a finish coat of any type, and buff to a high sheen. Many color combinations are available.  I also use woods such as Maple that I dye and stabilize myself.  For hunting knives, I use a wide variety of woods including ironwood, maple, rosewood, zebrawood, zircote, bocote, and others. I also use bone and antler.  Handles are expoxied and pinned to the tang.  Guards can be made from brass or stainless steel.  They are pinned and soldered to the tang.
